 Our new waterproof switches are easily installed with a 1.5 inch hole saw. - Adapt to other brands of trim tabs
- Sealed between the switch and the dashboard
- No interrupter relays needed
- Drop in replacement for all factory Insta-Trim switches.
Installation Instructions for Insta-Trim Waterproof Switches

Cut out and tape template to a convenient area on your dash.

Using a 1 1/2 hole saw, remove center of template (marked by arrow below)

Using 7/32" bit, drill out postholes labeled A and B.

Cut wire harness to desired length and attach spade terminals to wire harness, fuse wire, and ground wire.

Pull wire harness through hole and connect spade fittings to the back of the switch according to the color coding. Attach other end of fuse to positive line, or hot wire. Attach black wire to a ground wire.

Drop switches into place and secure with the supplied nuts.
Color Coding
Red - (Tabs Down)
Yellow - (Tabs Up)
Green - (Port Solenoid)
White - (Starbord Solenoid)
Red - (20 amp fuse)
Tip: This new Waterproof switch must be grounded. The old style rocker switches did not have a ground wire. Please use supplied black wire.
When replacing Insta-Trim Rocker Switches follow steps 3,4,5, and 6.
